Description

Descend into the forgotten depths of The Lost Temples of Veilreach, a gritty single-player roguelike deckbuilder where authentic OSR dungeon crawling meets tactical, high-stakes combat. Step into a world of ancient ruins and deadly hazards, where every run is a desperate test of survival and every choice carries a permanent consequence.

At the start of each run, you will choose from four classes and five distinct origins, tailoring your strengths to match your playstyle. As you push further through the lost temples, you will manage a custom deck and rely on the game's own Rollcard System (a layered 3-card layout mechanic) to execute devastating poker-hand combinations, break enemy armor, and survive brutal encounters.

Death is absolute, sending you back to start anew. But every journey yields progress, letting you unlock powerful new talents and discover new origins and classes for your subsequent runs. With an arsenal of 120 items, consumables, and cards to master, no two delves into the Lost Temples of Veilreach will ever be the same.

Alpha Build Features

• Forget spamming random attack cards. Combat in Veilreach centers on a high-stakes 3-card layout system where managing your resources is everything. But beware: run out of cards, and you seal your demise.

• Weave pairs, flushes, and triples simultaneously into a single hand to multiply your attack power. Build up enough momentum to shatter your opponent's armor, causing all excess to fuel your successful blow’s damage. 

• Overcome the dungeon with  items, consumables. Discover weapons and armors or utilize salves and brews to turn the tide of battle.

• Immerse yourself in a gritty world brought to life entirely through hand-drawn illustrations by Polish artist Łukasz Piwiński (@vaultcrawler).
